DBTS Executive Management Team Appointment

(January 2008) - DBTS Inc. has announced a new executive management team appointment to Tony Barrett, DBTS' Executive Vice President. Tony Barrett joined DBTS on November 12th, 2007.

Mr. Barrett's primary responsibilities are expansion and management of DBTS' federal and commercial sector business lines, quality control and risk management for the company's finances, and establishing and operating a company-wide performance management system.

Mr. Barrett is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), certified Earned Value Professional (EVP), and accomplished Program Manager with more than 25 years of success in Project and Program Management. For the past ten years, he has been focused on successful program management for information technology (IT) projects and programs for large-scale, enterprise-wide systems. This experience spans requirements analyses through concept exploration, systems development, full-scale development, full-scale production, and operational deployment and support. The most recent professional accomplishments were focused on successfully establishing, certifying, maintaining, and operating earned value management (EVM) systems for major, high risk, government acquisition programs. Mr. Barrett holds a BS in Marine Engineering from the U. S. Coast Guard Academy, a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a MS in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
